Hi

I'm Anni - the Illustrator, Graphics/Product Designer and owner of
Anni Arts: my online company for graphics, publications, portraits, papercraft design and illustration.
I am queen of my empire of one inhabitant and two websites : )
So I actually get to be queen of everything really.

I have decided to give the 3D paper crafts and handmade card designs their own website - hence this new Anni Arts Crafts site.
Eventually Anni Arts will revert back to only being my Design Studio site.

The Anni Arts illustrations and graphics are exclusive to the Anni Arts brand. All the paper
craft designs, illustrations, packaging and templates are created by me personally.

For the past few years I have had great fun creating professionally designed and illustrated printable products for crafters, who can sell the handmade paper crafts like cards and gift packs.
I enjoy doing detailed and decorative illustrations paired with clean and bold graphic design and combining the traditional with a contemporary twist.

Folk art is a favourite topic and influences many of my designs, although I like to apply it in a contemporary way. I am also a published author on the topic of folk art and customs. The Swedish Folk Christmas range has been a best seller and the motifs are now on a range of licensed manufactured ceramic items like plates, mugs and tiles.

Lately I have also started to produce ever-popular themes with flower and fashion graphics.
And the Anni Arts "paper porcelain" designs for paper craft mugs and teacups have become signature Anni Arts products.
The 3D construction of the mugs, cups, saucers and the shaped cards are exclusive designs and the result of years of designing packaging for the gift and food industries

I love to develop a core design over a story or collection of products, which makes my work very suited for licensing. My designs and illustrations are available for licensing and are applicable to a wide range of products like paper serviettes, wrapping, porcelain, figurines, stationery, cards, tapestry, house ware and fabrics.
A number of designs are already in production on licensed products that include porcelain, paper products and cross stitch kits. Examples of my recently licensed work will soon be up to be viewed on my design studio site Anni Arts

I have more than 25 years experience in the graphics, illustration, product design, packaging and publication design industry - both as designer/artist and art director.

I had my own design company for most of the 25+ year period, but also worked in the advertising, design studio and children's television fields prior to establishing my own business. I was a design lecturer at tertiary level for the same period on a part time basis and as guest lecturer.

I have a four year BA degree in Fine Arts and specialised in Graphic Design, Illustration, History of Art and Design, Philosophy of Art, Colour Theory, Photography and Marketing.

Things that interest me include design, art and illustration, product development, fine art painting, portrait painting, folk art, museums and art galleries, art in esoterica, symbology, mythology, alternative history and archaeology, shamanism and paganism, Nordic and Fenno-Ugric religions, folk art and folklore.

These diverse interests have a way of winding their way into both my my art, design and writing, as well as the 3D paper crafts and handmade card designs I create for crafters.
